I start with myself

Well what should i say today. The day started at 12:30 AM as always. And as always i woke up due to a phone call. The call was from Dheeraj. I don't remember what he said, coz u know why. The hell, it was my wake up call, not something to be taken seriously. Was it? Well leave it. The day commenced, and so i remembered i had to reach college at 9 am. But the time passed is the time lost. So i moved on. Got ready, and left for college. And what do i get there. Nothing. The work which i went to do couldn't even happen to start.

Oh my god. What m i saying? The things m saying, tell that it was not a good day, but its not so. It was a good day. A pretty normal day, when i don't get any probs and do get a sufficient dose of Technology.
Am trying out Office 12 Beta 1. And its simply cool. Only just started using it today so won't be able to comment on its working yet.
Met Nikhil today too. And he has started writing poems now. My God, whole of the world is writing now and writing good too. Only i m left, may be thats why m writing right now to compete. ;)
But it doesn't matter. I was thinking today. Yeah i was. DOn't u believe? Plz do.
Ohk. I was thinking about Dr. Amit Goel. Yeah, truly i was. I came to know that he is gonna teach me Networks in next semester. Kewl, you would think. Any other person would think so too. But i know, how my experiences with him have been. Simply Awe.........................................................................ful.

He is gonna shoot me, not dead, but hurt, in the class everyday.

Thats what i think. I also came to know that he has published 7 research papers. I was inspired from the moment, i came to know about it. But yeah some person, i won't mention the name, also told me that he is very unproductive person.
OOOOOOOOOOOh. I won't claim a knowledge now, but but but, he is gonna teach me guys.
Really Kewl.
Seriously KEWL.
MAAN, what m i gonna do?
Should i start doing PhD in Networks now onwards.
I leave the answers to listeners.

Hey........the listeners of my thoughts i mean.
Ho Ho Ho
Santa came and gave me Dr. Amit Goel.
Merry Xmas.

What is important - Friends or Technology?

Exams Over.
And now i m bored.
So its time to do some stuff !!!!!
But the most daunting task is to start with it.
i have a 20 days holidays in which i gotta do some things, i know 'bout them, but how to start.
I have to study Operating Systems, at least two books of them.
And i have to study Networking [Tanenbaum]
And have to complete my project too.
The one on Multi-boot DVDs, so its kinda urgent for me start working now.
All friends have gone back home. And i am alone.
And its not time to talk about Technical things.
Yesterday, i was thinking. Yes its kinda weird that i was thinking, but how can i help if i was.
So i was thinking, where am i standing?
I have some friends, some gud friends, some of whom i want to be good. But they don't know me completely yet. And they are reluctant to know more. They feel that the extent they know me are enough.
I wonder why???
But whatever, so everytime i think of relations, i come back to technology as all the times its with me and never leaves me in agony.
This doesn't mean that my friends don't mean anything to me, it only means that there are times when i am alone, its technology which stays with me and accompanies me.
But let me leave this here. I don't know what should i give more preference, my friends or technology.
As i am still finding the answer to this question, so any voluntary answers are invited.
I think i should wait for some time until i get some answers.
So c ya until i decide something.
Bbye and deeksha if u are reading this, tell the answer plz as u very well know my state of mind.

I m embarrased

This post of mine is for a very close friend of mine (I don't know whether i am close to her or not but she is very close to me). So this post goes to Deeksha.
I always thought that there is somewhere, an audience for me, but i never understood that the people closest to me are the first and the best audience.
Deeksha taught me that i must first learn to convey my thoughts to my closest people than to anyone else.
So here Deeksha, i write some thoughts of mine for you. I hope this time you will find it easy to grab.
I was talking about what can i do with the new monster which i have bought recently. I mean the new PC which i have bought.
Well first of all let me explain why i call my PC a monster?
My PC is a Dual Core Intel Pentium D 820. This is the processor specification. It means that i have Pentium Dual Core Processor model number 820 which consists of two execution cores on one die of 2.8 GHz clock speed each and with a 1MB L2 Cache each. Rather than that it also has a 12KB and 16KB L1 Cache. The Front Side Bus speed of this processor is 800 MHz which is 266 Mhz less than its AMD Athlon X2 counterpart but still it gives much better a performance when it is combined with the DDR II 667 MHz RAM.
DDR II stands for Dual Data Rate version 2 RAM which has a 667 MHz of Front Side Bus clock speed. Now here AMD lags behind as it uses DDR II 400 MHz RAM which is quite a lot slower than my DDR II 667 RAM.
Also my processor supports EM64T technology which stands for Extended Memory 64 bit Technology that is it supports 64 bit architectures which are the future of computing.
Till recently we all were using 32 bit OSes including Windows XP and Linux also. But now even Windows XP has come in 64 bit edition and i am using it currently.
But the problem which i am facing is that i have got the 64 bit OS, but i don't have any 64 bit software to run on that 64 bit OS. So i have to run my older 32 bit softwares on my brand new 64 bit OS which cripples my OS and i am unable to feel the actual power of my processor.
Also all the programs which we use today are not made to support Dual Core systems, therefore even after getting 64 bit softwares, i will not be using up all the power of my monster till the day i get some OS or software tailormade for my Dual core system. But yes, one thing i can be sure of is that, my monster is future proof for atleast 5 years to come.
So Deeksha what do you say now.
Have i made myself clear in this post????
Do write your comment soon.

What m i made of????

Well friends some times i think, i think and keep thinking.
I think many things. Many things which include all my adventures and all my misadventures and all my attributes and all my dreams.
I recently bought a new PC.

The Configuration is as under -
* Intel Pentuim D 820 - 2 x 2.8 GHz processors with 1BM L2 Cache each.
* Motherboard is Gigabyte iDNA series 945G
* 80GB Seagata Baracudda SATA.
* Transcend DDR II 667 MHz 1 GB RAM.

The major things are as above but now let me tell u what i was thinking.
i was thinking why don't i write as much as i think.
Isn't it bad that i write in between various months.
This is indeed very bad.
This PC costed me 31,000 bucks only and now i am confused as to what to do of this monster.
I m not getting any 64 bit softwares online so i am still running 32 bit ones which is a shame in itself.
Why is this so????
Leave alone 64 bit software, there are no softwares tailormade for dual core systems.
So in a way i m still running on a single leg.
And i m feeling very bad about it.
Some one should help me out in this. Some one should tell me where can i find 64 bit software for Windows XP 64 bit edition.
Some one should as i m unable to find the solution to this problem of mine.
I m waiting. And i will until my next post.
Until then bbye and take care.

Me regret

I regret some things in life as it is very much normal to regret things in life. I regret not reading eyes. I regret not saying Thank You, every time i benefitted something. I regret not going for the Grand Knoppix Launch Fair.
But thats not the issue. Knoppix 4.0 is out. But my net will not let me download its DVD version. And its CD is still not out. But who cares a damn when people are enjoying 8 GB of softwares on a DVD and u are still waiting for the CD to come out.
Windows Vista Beta came. Created a lot of hullaboo and then the rave reviews again forced me to curse Micro$oft again. I mean what will you prefer? Buying a 3GHz and 1 GB Dell Server or a 3GHz and 1 GB Destop PC just to run a God Damn resource hungry OS. Do you really think, those guys buying SLI enabled MoBos are doing so for running Windows Vista. We saw the rise of 64-bit Processors. We are seeing the screams of Dual Core Desktop Hands-on processors.
I got the opportunity to work on Dual AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor with 16 GB 733 MHz RAM with a SLI configured MotherBoard. And you know what, the first thing i did on the system was to see what the heck with OS. And i found it quite as normal as the one we use in our homes. You know which OS was it. It was RedHat Linux Advanced Server 3.0
And then i fired up the Live Server platform of the concerned firm on the system. The results were awesome. It didn't even budge a little when there were 34 Lac people online sharing a Whole network on 25 such systems.
And let me assure you, an Intel System/Windows system would have had got crushed under such a pressure, because i even tested a Dell Server with Intel Xeon 3.4 GHz on such a load and it just blew up and rebooted.
So i would just like to see this time at least Windows Vista to be boycotted by a common user. A common user who sees at Micro$oft as the GOD.
And I would like to see this time Fedora Core 4 emerging as the Best virtualised OS. An OS which won't let u miss anything of that God Damn Windows. Will give u a lot of Mac and will open a new horizon towards Sun's Solaris by giving you an opportunity to work on a 3D Desktop.
The rest is ur own preference. I won't force you to dump that pirated windows CD of urs and to get an official Linux Distro for 100 bucks.
May God have fun with u and Windows Vista.
Get kewl day by day. My best wishes with everyone.

Sorry guys

Sorry guys for not posting for so long.
There are many reasons for that.
Should I start and list them all. I don't think that would be very cool. And of course why will u be interested in why am i not posting. wat u might be interested in is that i haven't posted for a long time. May be 2 months. But I will set it all right.
So wat is Bill Gates busy with now a days. U guys don't have an idea. Well then i will tell u. Mr. Bill Gates is currently busy in donating money for the development of "out of the box" (again out-of-the-box experience) medical solutions for various diseases. I am here not saying that i don't like Bill Gates donating money for the medical revolution. Atleast he has donated enough money ( about $450 million) to say that it is was a publicity stunt. And i am even not saying that i don't like Bill Gates personally but i detest his company Micro$oft so much that i just can't stop myself spilling mud on him and his company time and again.
But this time he indeed has done a remarkable job. Seriously if someone does such a good deed of donating money for the purpose of development of vaccines for HIV AIDS, Tuberculosis and some highly infective diseases then i must say, he has a noble cause in his mind.
But i will not be so noble for a long time. The other time Microsoft says something against Linux and i will again start thrashing Micro$oft and Bill Gates.
And i suppose that will be very soon as i know Micro$oft just live in peace with Linux killing it inch by inch.
Rest is alrite. And now i will be posting stuff very soon.
And the next cool thing will come ur way very soon.
So keep posting on the Blog or i should say that u start posting on the Blog.
And i assure u, u will get excellent talks on the blog.
Rest is Best.
Bbye and take care u all.

Linux n Steve Ballmer

Hi to all the readers
This post is to tell u all what Steve Ballmer just said on a recent conference. He said that every user of linux whenever uses it voilates 228 patents.
So there is going on a massive voilation of patents everyday and every moment.
ha ha ha ha.
let me guess wat kinda patents r those. Patent of being on everyone's desktop.
patent of having a monopoly in the OS market. or a patent of not showing the source code to anyone. or a patent of spoon feeding every computer user.
I think if Steve has is way he will clean Linux from the face of the Earth and dats what he is trying to do. Isn't it?
bye then buddies. till next time when i say something more on computers.
bye n take care
